Baseline & Questions...
Our classroom is a place where ideas about democracy, diversity and social justice can be formed and shaped. We spend a lot of time building community in the classroom with learning respect for others and responsibility for ourselves and to others. It is also a constant current events lesson discussing people and the world today.
How crucial is this in educating the students who are future leaders in an unsettled world?
SMART Goal
Beginning in Jan. of 2011, I want to students to develop guidelines to have all students, regardless of learning ability feel as though our classroom is a place they can grow in their learning with each other.
